piece of the week: drafting stools

Love these vintage drafting stools a friend of beachbungalow8's stumbled across at a flea market. The color's great, and hey look! Wheels and adjustable height. Am I the only one who has trouble pulling stools out at bars because of the close quarters and then ends up feeling like a kid in need of a phone book? Yeah. Her comment:

"The bonus for kids, is that they're great for pushing at a high rate of speed down the hallway. which is not so much of a bonus for the aging blind dog sitting ahead."
