Would you like to know a secret? When I was small, very small, I was frightened of doorknobs. I was so young when I saw Disney's Alice in Wonderland that I don't even remember it, but I sure as hell remember how that talking doorknob affected me. I insisted the closet doorknobs in my room be covered before I went to bed for years.
