lani v. sprinkler

Remember the hankering I had on Saturday, when it was 90+ degrees and we had no A.C.? Well, I resisted maybe a half hour after writing the post before I caved, dug out the old yellow sprinkler (which I was doubtful even worked anymore), and went running through my yard like a maniac. My goodness, it was the best idea ever. I encouraged Lani to partake as well, as she's half Norwegian Elkhound and just about passed out from the heat every time she went outside. I had visions of us leaping gaily through the water together, but Lani had other plans...

Haha, she looks so vicious! All she really wanted was a drink.

Happily, we now have A.C., but do not be surprised, internet, if I drag that yellow beauty out again sometime.
