For kids or kids at heart in the Washington, DC area, you might want to head over to the S. Dillon Ripley Center (where my classes are--marked as INTERNATIONAL GALLERY on this map) and check out Jim Henson's Fantastic World. It's open through October 5th. For those of you too far away to make it here, it is a traveling exhibition and will be making the rounds. For a taste, check out this footage of early Henson advertisements for Wilkins Coffee. Kermit was a bit more violent in his early years!
