This week and this week only, we denizens of the internet are playing host to
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, a free, streaming, ground-breaking supervillain musical, courtesy of Joss Whedon (he of
Buffy,
Angel, and
Firefly fame). Starring Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day,
Dr. Horrible is the product of Whedon's frustration during the writer's strike earlier this year.
"It is time for us to change the face of Show Business as we know it. You know the old adage, “It’s Show Business – not Show Friends”? Well now it’s Show Friends. We did that. To Show Business. To show Show Business we mean business. (Also, there are now other businesses like it.)"

Neil Patrick Harris and Felicia Day are adorable, Nathan Fillion is charmingly cheesy, and
man but the three of them can sing! It's composed of three acts, the last of which goes up tomorrow before the whole thing disappears Sunday (not forever, there will be available downloads and eventually a DVD, but the free stuff ends Sunday).
