This just in: the booth at the New York Deli in Richmond, it is good.  So, so good.  Also good are the deli's hummus and bruschetta plates, and Dr. Brown's Black Cherry soda.  And the vintage place next door, Bygones, is a gem on a whole street of gems.  In fact, the stretch of Carytown which is the Deli, Bygones, and the Byrd Theatre might be the best expanse of sidewalk in the history of ever.  Wish I could have stayed to hear the Mighty Wurlizter!

It was the perfect way to end a day spent wandering the newly reopened Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, drowning in Art Nouveau and Art Deco goodness (photos to come when I can find my camera charger).

My love of photobooths is no secret, but there's a pretty sad dearth of them in my area.  I wait until I can visit Laura in Brooklyn, and then I go nuts.  So to say I was excited by the most recent location updates on photobooth.net is a bit of an understatement.  Not one, but two booths in Virginia!  One is in Blacksburg, and the other is in Richmond.  I think it's safe to say that you can expect a visit, Aunt Anne!
