coastal longing

I've always loved the mountains. My family had a place in Wintergreen in the Blue Ridge Mountains when I was a kid, and I just adored being there, no matter the weather.  It didn't matter if I was hiking, skiing, or just standing on an overlook, I loved it.  So it seems so odd to me, living in the mountains as I am, how much I miss the ocean.  Especially seeing as how I grew up in the suburbs, nowhere NEAR the ocean.  I'm not going to lie, my vague post-VISTA plans right now definitely involved the coast.

All taken in Maine.  Which, coincidentally, happens to be ground zero in my current, vague, post-VISTA plans.
