Are you interested in seeing what it looks like outside my house right now?  I bet you are!

This is looking out from the front door.  The wind has been blowing so hard that the snow is covering the entire porch--all the way to the house.

This is the icicle hanging from the eave of our front porch.  I imagine that there's a section in some dusty old tome prophesying the coming of this icicle.

To really put into context the snow we're gotten just today: my mother and I shoveled the entire deck yesterday.  We were afraid that if the snow was too heavy, the thing might collapse.  So that's a new 9 inches or so, just today.

Is it any wonder I'm posting colorful doors this week?
