I came across this photo in December while looking through old photo albums.  I love it.  It is quintessentially my mom, sitting there, pretty as a peach, the calm in the storm.

Happy birthday, Mama.  You are the best mama anyone could have.  I will miss hanging out with you this coming year, probably more than anything else.
