I started my 3rd semester as a grad student today. It was eventful. My class was in a building located nowhere near where my classes usually are, and I have to take a bus in addition to a train to get there. Well, I waited at the wrong stop, missed the bus, panicked (despite having allowed myself PLENTY of time for just such an occurrence) and walked 2 miles instead. In a charmingly ironic twist of fate, after living at the beach all summer and being super diligent with putting spf on my face, I am now sporting a bright red all-over burn. Yessssss.

In other news, the class itself was awesome, then there were crepes, and there is just something about birds over the water.
