leash style

I've never really thought of dog leashes as something which could be fashionable, but this recent image from the Sartorialist has me changing my mind. Love that rope!

I had a rare middle-of-the-week day off today, which I spent thrifting and antiquing. I picked up a 1950s globe (my second this summer) and a big vintage brown suitcase with a gorgeous plaid interior. I've also been rather crafty, and spent my dinner hour with sticky, rubber cement fingers for my trouble. So worth it, though! I'm only down here for another 10 days! This summer sure has gone by fast.
