craft envy

If you subscribe to Etsy's spotlight e-mails, then you might have already seen this. If you don't, there were two items in today's spotlight on home decor that made me seriously wish for the crafty gene that seems to have skipped me.
From Fox & Clover, this cleverly painted recycled soap dish. In the modern age of liquid soap, soap dishes seem to be more and more rare. I'd sooner hang this lovely thing on the wall than put it next to the sink.From Pretty Random Objects, these perfect little vases with snail details. The simplicity of the design astounds me--I love it!

I wonder if Santa is still accepting lists...
