tea, please

My mum and I stopped at a tea room outside of Knoxville for lunch on the way home Friday. It's Apple Cake Tea Room, and I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area. Sadly, we did not partake of the titular cake, but the Tea Room Medley is delightful. We took a box of banana bread sandwiches (with cream cheese filling) to go, and munched them all the way to Roanoke.

The decor was a little too lace curtains/your grandmother's "company parlor" for me, but looking at these ceramics made the place immediately jump into my mind. Don't they just beg for cucumber sandwiches and crumpets on a Sunday afternoon?
