52 Strangers

Andrea of blog hula seventy is doing this photography project wherein she photographs 52 strangers in 52 weeks. I think it's incredibly brave (approaching strangers isn't easy under normal conditions, even moreso when you've got a camera), and the results are beautiful and touching. This one is my favourite.

"when I asked if I could take her picture she broke into the widest, sweetest grin. she kept saying, me? me? really? me? yes, I said. she blushed and I wanted to cry. I think it made her feel beautiful, yes I do."
